Bat Out of Hell Musical Sets West End Premiere

Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell—The Musical is to receive its world premiere at the West End’s London Coliseum, beginning performances June 5, 2017, prior to an official opening June 20.

The original Bat Out of Hell became one of the best-selling albums in history, moving more than 50 million copies worldwide. For the stage musical, Steinman has incorporated iconic songs, including “You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth,” “Bat Out Of Hell,” “I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That” and “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” as well as two previously unreleased songs, “What Part of My Body Hurts the Most” and “Not Allowed to Love.”

Mamie Gummer Will Star in Readings of Sundogs

Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?, Driving Miss Daisy), the cast will feature Mamie Gummer (Ugly Lies the Bone, Emily Owens, M.D.), Jordan Bridges (Rizzoli & Isles, J. Edgar), McKinley Belcher III (Mercy Street, The Royale), Chris Stack (Ugly Lies the Bone, Marie Antoinette) and Tobias Segal (Bad Guys, Miracle Worker). General management is by Jumpstart Entertainment.
